Layered Paneer Rice

Paneer & Vegetables in layers

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 cup Cooked Rice
    • 2 slices of Paneer (200 gms pack)
    • 1 chopped Tomato
    • 1 chopped Onion
    • 10-15 Mint leaves
    • 2-3 Green chillies
    • 1 tbsp Mixed Masala Powder (Cinnamon,Cardamom,Cloves)
    • 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp Jeera powder
    • 1/2 tsp Dhaniya powder
    • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
    • 1 cup Fried Onion

    Directions

    1. Roast Paneer slices with little oil in a pan on both the sides until light brown. Remove & keep aside. Once cooled, lightly crumble them.
    2. Add Oil to a pan. Add Onion & fry till soft.
    3. Add Ginger-Garlic paste, Green Chillies & Tomato. Mix well.
    4. Add Mixed Masala powder, Jeera powder, Dhaniya powder, Red chilli powder, Mint leaves & Salt. Mix well for a minute. Add crumbled Paneer pieces & mix well.
    5. In a serving bowl, put a layer of Rice. On that spread a layer of Paneer-Masala mixture & little Fried Onion. Again put a layer of Rice.
    6. Make 3-4 layers. Garnish with Mint leaves & serve hot with Curd or Raitha.
