Easy Baingan bharta

Less Messy recipe to cook Baingan bharta in less time, Whole Brinjal need not to be cooked so as to keep a check on any insect/ hole in whole brinjal...

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 250 gm brinjal
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1 cup chopped tomoto
    • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tsp chopped green chilli
    • 1 clove (ground)
    • 1 tsp red chilli pdr
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric pdr
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
    • 2 tbsp Oil


    1. Peel brinjal wid knife/peeler & chop it into fine chips.
    2. Heat Oil in a heavy bottom pan. Fry Onion, greeen chilli & ginger garlic Paste till pink.
    3. Now Add Chopped Brinjals, Ground clove, salt, red chilli, turmeric.
    4. Mix well, cover with lid & cook on low  flame for 5 minutes.
    5. Now Add tomoto, mix it , cover it & again cook it for 5 minutes till tomotes get cooked
    6. Now Remove Lid, cook the mixture strring continously on medium-high flame till Oil Get separeted.
    7. Grnish wid freshly cut coriander leaves & Serve hot wid Chapatis.

    Don't you have to roast the baingan directly on the gas once its done remove the scene & mess it?
