Easy to prepare and to be served hot with veg or non-veg gray
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 cup Rice (soaked for atleast four hours)
1/4 cup par boiled cooked rice
1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp yeast
salt to taste
Directions
Grind all ingredients together in a mixer with some water until it turns to thick smooth batter.
keep the batter aside for atleast 8 hrs in a hot place for fermenting.
Mix the batter well.
prepare appam by pouring the small amount of batter to the hot appam pan and slightly tilting the pan so that the batter spreads around the pan,cover it and cook in slow flame,when it is cooked,
