adding a lot of onions helps to reduce the bitterness of the gourd....also tastes good with a few garlic pods.those who hate to eat this veggie can try this way
Ingredients
vegetarian 2 servings
2 bitter gourds (finely chopped)
2 onions finely chopped
4-5 garlic pods finely chopped
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric
salt to taste
Directions
Heat oil and fry the onions and the bitter gourd together
Add chilli powder and turmeric as well as the chopped garlic.
mix together adding salt and cover and cook till the gourd is done stirring in between.
