Banana Pudding

Healthy Wheat flour pudding.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Wheat Flour
    • 1 cup Sugar
    • 1 Banana (big)
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 1 tbsp Coco powder
    • 2 tbsp Ghee (clarified Butter)
    • few Cashwenuts
    • Pinch of Baking Soda
    • Pinch of Salt

    Directions

    1. Dry roast Wheat flour for a minute. Remove & keep aside to cool.
    2. Add Ghee to a kadai. Fry Cashwenuts & keep aside to cool. Break them into halves.
    3. To the same ghee, add the roasted Wheat flour & mix well for 2-3 mins. Remove to a bowl.
    4. Grind Banana, Sugar & Milk to a fine paste. Add it to the Wheat flour & mix well.
    5. Add Salt, Soda, Coco powder & fried Cashwenuts. Mix well.
    6. Pour the mixture to a greased Cake tin or a Aluminium bowl. Steam it like Idli for 7-8 mins. Allow to cool completely. Cut & serve.
    7. Note: Nuts are optional. Can also add Almonds. Insert a Tooth-Pick to check its done before removing.
