Baingan ka madrasi bharta

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1/2 kg brinjals
    • 4 green chillies
    • 2 big onions (sliced)
    • 125 g tamarind pulp
    • salt to taste
    • few leaves of mint
    • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
    • oil as req


    1. Boil brinjals and pill its skin.
    2. grind brinjals and make a burta.
    3. Now add red chilli powder and salt in the burta.
    4. Heat a oil in a pan and fry onion till turns in golden color, and add bhurta in it.
    5. Now add tamarind pulp in this mixture.
    6. Cook for few minutes and add chopped green chillies and mint leaves.
    7. Now cook it very well when it leaves oil in a surface then turn out in a bowl.
    8. Serve with boil rice or chapatis.
