Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    1 1/2 cup semolina(rava or suji)
    1 onion - chopped fine
    1 greenchilli-chopped fine
    2 tsp split gramdal -kadalai paruppu
    1/2 tsp skinless split uraddal
    1 tsp mustard seeds
    1/4 tsp grated ginger
    3 whole red chillies
    few curry and coriander leaves
    1/4 cup(or 5 tbsp)grated
    few ghee roasted cashewnuts
    2 tsp refined oil with 2 tsp ghee
    2 tsp ghee
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    3 1/2 cup water

    Directions

    • 1.Take a microwave bowl,add the semolina and 2 tsp ghee.Mix well.Microwave this on high for a min.
      2.When done,take the bowl out.Keep the ghee-roasted semolina aside.
      3.Take another microwave bowl.Add refined oil with ghee,mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chillies,green chillies,grated ginger and chopped onions.Microwave this on high for 2 mins.
      4.Take the bowl out and add 3 1/2 water(2 1/2 measure) and salt.Microwave this on high for 2 mins.
      5.Take the bowl out and add ghee-roasted semolina and microwave this on high for 6 mins.
      6.Take the bowl out and add the grated coconut and the ghee-roasted cashewnuts.mix this well.Microwave this on high for 4 mins.
      7.Check for doneness.If needed add 1/4 cup water more,mix this well and microwave this on medium for another 4 mins.
      8.Serve this hot with sugar mixed grated coconut,coconut chutney or sambar.

    Sorry,a typing error.It shud be 1/4 cup or 5 tbsp grated coconut in the ingredients-(coconut is missing).
