dry fruit chikki

i have taken this recipe from cookery show on tv.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 1 cup roasted unsalted cashew
    • 1 cup roasted badam
    • 1 cup unsalted pista
    • 1/4 cup gur (grated)
    • 2 tbsp ghee
    • saffron soaked in milk


    1. slightly crush all the dry fruits (not into flour).
    2. heat ghee in a wok. add gur in ghee to make a fine paste.
    3. add all the dry fruits and saffron and mix well.
    4. layer the tray with ghee and sift the prepared mixture in the tray to set.
    5. divide it in pieces.
    6. chikki is ready to be served.




    dear sonu thanx. quauntity of gur depends on u r taste , how much sweet u want.


    is 1/4 cup gur enough for chikki ? please confirm.
