Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    2 cups of dalia(broken wheat) 2 tbsp of sunflower oil 1 tsp. Mustard seeds pepper for seasoning 1 tsp. Urad dal curry leaves for seasoning salt to taste turmeric powder 1 tsp


    1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal,pepper and curry leaves.
    2. After the ingredients are tempered, add water, let it boil before adding dalia(broken wheat).
    3. Stir the mix so that no lumps are formed.
    4. Add the turmeric powder and salt. Remove when the mixture thickens and serve hot. It goes well with curds or tomato sauce.
