Kadhi With Vegetables

A very unique kadhi u all will like it.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 cup cauliflower florets
    • 1 cup carrots
    • 1/2 cup beans
    • 2 potatoes (cut into cube shape)
    • 2 cup coconut milk
    • 2 tbsp tamarind pulp
    • 1/2 cup oil
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tbsp maash ki daal
    • 4 garlic cloves
    • 8-10 curry leaves
    • 4-5 whole red chillies
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • 3/4 cup gramflour/baisen ka aata


    1. Heat a oil in a pan and put whole red chillies,maash daal,cumin seeds,mustard seeds,curry leaves and garlic cloves.
    2. Now add cauliflower florets,carrots,beans,potato and tamarind pulp and stirr it for a few minutes.
    3. Now take a bowl and add gram flour,coconut milk,salt and termeric powder and mix it very well.
    4. Add this mixture in vegetables and stir it continuously.
    5. When the gravy turns thick and vegetables are tender then turn off the burner.
    6. Serve it with boil rice and pakoray wali mirchay.( u can see my recipe of it).




    I think in eng it is called white lentil if i m wrong then plz some one correct it..


    what is maash dal?
