Babycorn with Muttar methi

a tasty combinations of vegetables just sauteed and cooked in milk till dry

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 5-6 baby corns
    • 1 carrot
    • 1/2 cup fresh peas
    • 1 cup methi leaves
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 green chilli chopped
    • 2 onions grated
    • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
    • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
    • salt to taste


    1. chop baby corn to small pieces.also dice the carrots and keep aside.
    2. heat oil and fry the ginger garlic paste.then add grated onions and fry till they turn brown
    3. add red chilli powder,turmeric and the baby corn first and keep frying for two add the rest of the vegetables along with chopped methi leaves and stir fry well till oil seperates.add salt to taste
    4. now add the milk to this and cook covered till the vegetables are well cooked and all the milk is absorbed well.
    5. add the garam masala powder and cumin powder and stir well.
    6. garnish with coriander and serve hot.
