Can be served like a snack or a side dish............. can be served with toasted bread or with parathas for breakfast.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 cups fresh green peas
    • 8-10 halved cashews
    • 10-12 raisins
    • 1/2 inch ginger grated/finely chopped
    • 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
    • 1 small tomato
    • salt to taste
    • 1 lemon juice
    • 2 pinch hing
    • 1 tsp desi ghee

    Directions

    1. wash the green peas well.
    2. in a cooker heat the ghee. put hing, cashews. keep on stiring.
    3. cashews will turn ligh tgolden, then add finely chopped tomato and fry for a few minutes.
    4. add the peas, raisins, salt, ginger and green chilllies.
    5. pust a dash of water and close the lid.
    6. let a whistle come and once teh second whistle is full close the gas before it blows.
    7. once done open the lid, and fry for a while till peas are completely dry, but do not break or smash the peas in the process.
    8. add the lemon juice and serve
    9. can be served as a snack, or as a side dish.
