Parathas with Rice Stuffing

Quick Easy Crisp Parathas

Tasty meal to make with leftover rice that kids will love. Makes 5 medium sized parathas.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

  • 2 cups Flour (Whole wheat)
  • ¼ tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Green Chilies, chopped
  • 2 cups Rice, boiled
  • 1 pinch Dry Mango Powder
  • ¼ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Salt to taste

(use chilli is according to taste)

Directions

Stuffing:

  1. In a bowl, mix the rice, jeera, jeera powder, red chilli powder, green chillies and salt.
  2. The stuffing is ready - its that quick!!!

Parathas:

  1. Knead the flour with a little salt and oil. Mix water as needed.
  2. Make the parathas with this stuffing. They taste better when cooked in ghee/oil to be crisp.
  3. Serve hot with butter, pickle and raita.
