Til curry (diet for anaemia)

til is very good for making new blood in body and helps in filtering blood,and its not much heavy food so any one can use this ,,weak person and kids must have this okits very tasty ,it takes only 15-30 mins.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 150g - white til, dry fried
    • 2 - onion, medium, cut into small pieces
    • 2 - green chilli, chopped
    • salt
    • 1/4 tsp jeera
    • 1/4 inch piece - ginger, chopped fine
    • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
    • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
    • A pinch of haldi
    • 8 - curry patta leaves
    • 1 tbsp - oil
    • 5 - garlic cloves, crushed roughly
    • 1 tsp - chopped coriander leaves

    Directions

    1. Grind til, ginger and green chilli into a coarse paste
    2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, jeera and curry leaves
    3. Fry till the mustard seeds splutter, add garlic cloves and onion pieces and fry till they become soft
    4. Add til paste, red chilli powder, salt and haldi and let it cook for 2 to 3 min till the oil separates and til curry looks grainy and dry
    5. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves mix well and remove
    6. Serve with hot plain rice
    7. You can add boiled, cubed potato pieces to this curry
