Healthy Corn cake

This is a healthy & easy to make bread that can be served for breakfast or along with tea and is welcomed by vegetarians easily.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 cup wheat flour"ata"
    • 2 cup corn meal"Makai ka ata"
    • 1/4 cup oil
    • 1 1/2 cup curd
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 cup warm water 
    • 1/2 cup drained corn kernels
    • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
    • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper or chopped spring onion "opt"
    • 1 egg " opt" (if ur not a pure vegetarian) 

    Directions

    1. In a bowl combine the above ingredients & mix well.
    2. Grease a baking pan and pour the mix evenly into it.
    3. Bake in the oven at 350 deg for 30 -35 min (until the top is golden).
    4. Remove from heat and cool for 5 min.
    5. Turn out on a plate, cut into pieces and serve warm with butter & a cup of tea.

    Well Mrs Roy u can give it a try & let me know . I haven't really tried it out to be honest in the micro so I can't say much but the baked one turned out really good & my kids love it 2. Cheers.

    350 degrees 'F' ?? I have the oven to bake this but asking this just 4 a general curiousity, can this b made in micro? If yes, thn whtz the temperature?
