Tomato egg drop

its amazingly refreshing

especially good for kids..full of protein/energy.this is my parents receipe.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 6 eggs
    • 4 tomatoes, pureed
    • 2 medium sized onions
    • 2 tsp turmeric
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 2 tsp chilli powder..can be adjusted for kids.
    • handful of coriander
    • 1 tsp chat masala
    • salt to taste.

    Directions

    1. start with chopping the onions into small dices.
    2. heat 2 tsp oil in the pan with a lid..should be thick bottom pan for good result.
    3. add onions to the pan..turn till golden brown.add turmeric/chilli/little coriander leaves ..saute for few seconds
    4. add the tomato puree saute for few minutes.add salt as per taste.
    5. break the eggs one by one directly on the pan.sprinkle little chat masala over the top of egg yolks.  
    6. add remaining coriander leaves.
    7. cover the pan. keep  the gas on minimal heat.
    8. wait for 5 to 7 mts for the recipe to be ready to eat.
    9. take care that the tomato puree base should not get burnt.
    10. enjoy with nan/roti or rice.
