This wonderful recipe is given to me by my wife which is always a hit when she serves them to any one. The key to this chicken is not to over cook them.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 6 servings
1 whole chicken cut into small pieces.
1 tsp garlic and ginger paste
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tsp pounded cumin and 1 tsp coriander seeds
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
1 - 1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 chopped green chilli
1 tbsp chopped mint
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp Gram flour (besan).
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp corn flour
Oil for deep frying
1/4 tsp chaat masala.
Directions
Combine the chicken and star items and marinade for an hour.
Just before frying combine the flour and baking powder in the marinated chicken and coat well.
Heat the oil and deep fry the chicken pieces for 7-10 min until golden not more.
Drain on an absorbent paper and sprinkle the chaat masala on top and enjoy this juicy fried chicken.
