This is very simple receipe which can be prepared before hand for a party. All thanks to Shylaja ji for sharing her receipe.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
Outer layer :
12 Marie Biscuits
1-2 tbsp Condensed Milk
1/2 tbsp powdered Sugar
5-6 tsp Cocoa powder
1 tsp Milk
Filling :
1/4 cup powdered Almonds
1/4 cup powdered Sugar (adjust according to your sweetness)
2 drops Almond Essence (optional)
1 tbsp melted Butter
1/2 tbsp Milk
Directions
Mix well all the ingredients of outer layer to form a chapati dough.
In another bowl, mix all the filling ingredients.
Roll the chapati dough to a 1/4 " thick rectangle on a Butter paper/parchment paper.
Carefully spread the Filling mixture on top of it.
Slowly lift the edge of the paper & start rolling. Make a tight roll by pressing the edges slowly. Refrigerate for 3-4 hrs. Remove the paper roll, cut into 1/2 " thick discs & serve.
