Green Hummus

Try this desi version of my new hummus with fresh cut Veg or crackers.

Ingredients vegetarian 8 servings


    • 1 can chic pea (drained)
    • a good bunch fresh coriander
    • 2 hot green chilli
    • 3 cloves of Garlic
    • 4 tbsp tahini
    • 1/4 c fresh lemon juice
    • A little water to make a smooth paste.
    • Salt to adjust your taste.
    • Samaq ( dry Arabian berry for garnishing)

    Directions

    1. Add your Chick pea, fresh coriander, G chili, Tahini, lemon juice, garlic , 4 tbsp olive oil and 1-2 tbsp water in a blender or food processor.
    2. Process until nice and creamy.Check if you need to balance the salt, lemon juice or olive oil. 
    3. Chill for 1/2 hour.
    4. Bring out in a serving platter and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle some Samaq on top.
    5. Enjoy with Veg or crackers.

    Hi ! Rabz , A very healthy recipe . Thank U . Chicpeas are an excellent source of essential trace element Molybdenum . Good source of fiber , High Protein , Folic acid nd Manganese . Contains minerals such as Iron , Magnesium , Copper and Zinc . Controls blood sugar , Prevents Heart Disease and Obesity . Individuals with history of Oxalate containing Kidney stones should limit their intake of Chick peas .
