Chicken cooked in green herbs

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • Boneless chicken cut into cubes
    • 3/4th cup yogurt
    • Salt according to taste
    • 1 1/2 tsp fresh ginger garlic paste
    • 3-4 green chillies (depending on how spicy you want)
    • 1 bunch coriander leaves (dhaniya)
    • 1/2 bunch mint leaves
    • some dry kasoori methi (fenugreek) leaves 

    Directions

    1. Put green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and kasoori methi in the blender and make a green paste with 3-4 tbsp of water
    2. Mix the yogurt with the salt in the green paste and marinade the chicken
    3. Heat the oil in a pan and add onions and let it get brown and add the chicken that you marinaded and cook it and simmer the gas and cover the pan.
    4. When you see the oil on top, take the lid off check the tenderness and serve it with chapati or paratha.
    5. For a dry version of the recipe, just BBQ or grill the marinated chicken, adding some oil occasionally.

    to make this dish royal ,u can add some cashew nuts with green chilles,mint & coriander so it looks alike dum ka murg,try it & whenevr make reminds me
