Chick-Quick Rice

To save our time when friends are around for fast tasty food.
Ingredients
non vegetarian
4 servings
1 kg Fresh Chicken
4 Cups Basmati tukda rice
5 big onions
5 green chillies
2 red chillies
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
2 peeled potatoes
2 1/2 tbsp everest biryani masala
1/2 cup curd
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp red chili powder
2 (cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaves, punjabi garam elaichi)
5-7 tbsp oil and salt to taste.
Directions
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, then add finely sliced onions, the whole spices, ginger-garlic paste, red and green chillies (slit the chilies).
Fry till golden brown. Add the fresh chicken (cut into pieces as desired), and add the mentioned masalas and curd.
Saute for 2 minutes.
Add rice (not to be washed add it directly to the cooker). Then saute for 2-4 minutes.
Add water upto 2 phalangs of a finger.
Cover the lid and make 4 whistles. Wait for 15 min and then serve hot.
(Enjoy the free flowing rice with curd, if desired garnish with coriander).
