Stir fried noodles with bean sprout

If you really want to enjoy Chinese Cantonese cuisine then try this.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

    • 250g fresh Bean sprout
    • 2 to 3 Spring onions(scallions)
    • 2 to 3 Carrots (julliened)
    • 1 medium Red chilly pepper(optional)
    • 3 tbs oil
    • 2 packets noodles
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1/2 tsp Sugar
    • 1 tsp of Butter
    • 1 tbs light Soy sauce
    • few drops of sesame oil(optional)


    1. Rinse bean-sprouts in cold water, drain well on on paper towels.
    2. Cut spring onions (scallions) in short sections. Thinly shred red peppper discarding the seeds.
    3. Boil noodles in hot wter as directed on packet and drain it. Add 1 tsp of butter to keep it from sticking.
    4. Heat oil in a preheated wok.
    5. Add bean-sprouts, spring onions, carrots and chilly pepper and stir fry for 2 minutes on high heat.
    6. Add salt, sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil,if using to the mixture in wok. Stir well to blend.
    7. Add all ingredients in nooddles and serve immediately hot.
