Cucumber Raita(Mustard )

This tangy raita gets its light pungency from the mustard. Loved in the easter region of India, this side dish will make you ask for more.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

  • ½ cup Cucumber
  • 1 cup Yoghurt
  • 2 tbsps. Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Powder
  • 1 no. Green Chilies, diced
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste


  1. Wash,peel and grate the Cucumber, keep aside.
  2. Mix well all the ingredients in the Yoghurt.
