Browned Garlic mint chutney

Garlic flavored dip

Adapted from Sanjiv kapoor's recipe

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 10 cloves of Garlic
    • 2 cup Fresh mint leaves
    • 1 tbsp Oil
    • ½ tsp Salt
    • 1 inch Ginger
    • 2 Green Chilies (chopped)
    • 1½ cup Yogurt
    • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice


    1. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, black salt and saute till well browned
    2. Put the mint leaves, Ginger, green chilies, sauteed garlic, 2 tbsp of water, Grind to a fine paste
    3. Add this paste to whisked yogurt and mix well. Add lemon juice and salt.
    4. Filter this mixture through a muslin cloth, squeezing well to get a smooth consistency.
    5. Cool and serve.
