Almond cake without eggs

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 cup white flour
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
    • 3/4 cup milk or as required
    • few almonds and honey

    Directions

    1. Pre heat oven to 350 degree and grease 8" round tin to bake the cake.
    2. Sift flour and baking powder 3 - 4 time
    3. Mix butter and sugar to form a thick paste
    4. Add flour in the beated butter and sugar and mix it slowly
    5. Add essence and use milk according to need to make cake batter and beat it well with mixer
    6. Crush almonds coarsely and make a base with almonds in the tin
    7. Then pour the batter in the tin and keep aside to set for a couple of minutes
    8. Now bake it untill the cake sponged
    9. You can use a long pin to ensure that the cake is cooked inside.
    10. Let it cool and remove tin
    11. Glaze it with honey.
