Very easy and mouth watering good meal ending dish.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 raw green mango
6 juicy tomatoes (boiled and skin removed)
Sugar
Salt to taste
Panch phodon (jeera, rai, meethi, saunf and kalonji)
Vegetable oil
Roasted cumin powder
Crushed ginger (little)
Dry red chilli
Directions
Peel the raw mangoes and cut them into small pieces
Boil the tomatoes in pressure cooker with little water upto 2 whistles, peel and mash them
Add 2 table spoons of vegetable oil in kadai, then add 1/2 sp panch phodon and one dry red chilli. Let it crackle. Add the crushed ginger and saute it for sometime.
Then add the mango pieces and saute for sometime
Add the tomatoes to it
Add a pinch of salt to it
Let it boil for 5 minutes
Add enough sugar to make it thick. Keep stirring continously.
