Badam Ghosht

almond gravy mutton

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 kg mutton boneless
    • 1 cup almond paste (soaked, pealed and grinded)
    • 1 cup cream and curd mix
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmaric
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 1/2 cup fresh coriander chopped
    • 2 green chilies chopped
    • 1 tbsp garlic past
    • 1 onion
    • 1/2 cup oil

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a karahi and fry onion, when get soften add garlic past and fry for a minute
    2. now add mutton and fry it at medium heat, cook covered
    3. when all water is absorbed add red chili, salt and turmaric powder and stir well
    4. Now add almonds and cook for about 5 min, keep stirring
    5. Add cup full of cream and curd
    6. Lower the flame and cover it, check and stir often so that it do not burn
    7. when mutton gets soft add garam masala powder and garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves
    8. serve with chapaties
