Masala Papad Curry

Spicy Curry for 'Nay' Sayers to regular Menu.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 3-4 Any Regular Masala Papad.
    • 1 tbsp Desi Ghee.
    • 1½ cup Beaten Curd.
    • ½ tsp kashimri red chilli powder
    • ½ tsp cumin seeds.
    • 7-8 finely chopped green chillies.
    • Finely Chopped coriander.
    • Salt to taste.


    • Prepare the mixture by adding kashmiri red chilli powder and salt to taste in 1½ cup beaten curd.
    • Put 1 tbsp desi ghee in a wok.
    • Add cumin seeds and finely chopped green chillies.
    • Saute it for a minute and add the mixture of curd into it.
    • Cook it for 3-4 mins. on low flame.
    • Add 3 cups of water into it and boil it on low flame for 10 mins.
    • Crush the papad and add it to the gravy.
    • Simmer it for another 5 mins.
    • Garnish it with Coriander and Serve Hot.

    Add Gujarati (Bhavnagary) Ganthia after Papad & boil for few minutes. It taste very nice...It's our family receipe.
