very rich chicken curry with no chilli powder and coconut.a tasty surprise.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
500 g Boneless chicken pieces
1 onion (paste)
6 green chillies
2 tsp ginger - garlic fresh paste
1 tsp finely chopped garlic cloves
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp coriander powder
1 cup cashew paste
2 tsp chopped capsicum pieces
2 tsp salt
2 cup water
1 tbsp refined oil - 1 tbsp
for seasoning
chopped curry leaves - little
chopped coriander leaves - little
chopped onion pieces - little
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
5 crushed cashews
1 tsp refined oil
Directions
Marinate chicken pieces in lemon juice,ginger-garlic paste and salt.
Make a paste of green chillies and onion .
Heat oil in a pan and saute chopped garlic,chopped capsicum pieces, then coriander powder, then onion -green chilli paste ,then marinated chicken pieces and saute for 2 mins.
Now add the cashew paste and salt and add water.
Cover the pressure pan and cook upto 4 whistle. turn off the flame and keep aside for 10 mins.
Take a kadai and heat oil ,add mustard seeds,chopped onion,crushed cashews ,curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves.
Saute well and put this to the cooked chicken curry and mix well.
Serve hot with rice or idli,dosa,naan,parathas and chapathis.
