If methi powder is used,sprinkle at the end.adds more flavour.Can replace methi seeds with owa or ajwain.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 cup Yoghurt 
    • 4 Red chillis
    • 1 tsp Mustard
    • 1/2 tsp Methi seeds or methi powder
    • 1/2 tsp Haldi
    • 1/2 tsp celery powder
    • 1 tsp Gingely Oil
    • 1 tsp Salt


    1. Heat Oil in a kadai and add mustard and after it splutters add red chillis & methi seeds.
    2. Let it becomes brown.
    3. Blend Yoghurt well and add haldi to it.
    4. Add blended yoghurt and celery powder to the kadai.
    5. Stir well on low flame.
    6. When it starts boiling.switch off.
    7. Then add salt.Stir well.
    8. Serve with rice.

    Note: Please add salt after switching off the gas otherwise yoghurt will break.Celery powder is the grinded dry powder of celery leaves and more flavour like methi.
