Raw Banana Greenmasala Fry

Raw Banana Pieces fried with herbs and spices

This dish can be done in 6 mins time.very tasty green masala(masala of coriander,mint and curry leaves) fry.This can also be served as a starter.Try and post your comments.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 2 nos raw banana - cut into round pieces
    • 1 tbsp refined oil
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves  
    • 1 cup chopped mint leaves
    • a sprig of chopped curry leaves
    • 3 no.s green chillies
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 2 tsp salt


    1. Grind  chopped coriander leaves  , chopped mint leaves , a sprig of chopped curry leaves, green chillies,  cumin seeds,turmeric powder,lemon juice  and salt into a smooth paste .
    2. Apply this green masala on raw banana pieces and keep it aside.
    3. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the raw banana pieces both sides,till golden brown.
    4. Serve it with Rice and sambar or with tomato ketchup.
