Rawa Dosa

batter should not be like regular dosa batter.shd be more thin batter.While making 5th or 6th dosa itself,batter becomes thick.Add water.This dosa tempts us to eat more and more

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup rice flour
    • 1 cup siroti rawa
    • 1/2cup maida
    • 1 tsp besan
    • 5 cups water
    • 2 tbsp yoghurt(sour will give more taste)
    • 1 tsp jeera
    • 1 tsp mustard
    • 1 sprig curry leaves chopped finely
    • 2 nos.green chilli chopped finely
    • 1 tsp ginger,chopped finely
    • 1/2 tsp hing
    • Salt,to taste
    • 2 tbsp oil

    ghee can be replaced with oil 

    Directions

    1. In a large bowl mix rawa, rice flour, maida, besan, yoghurt & salt with water.make it a thin batter.
    2. Soak the batter for 3 hrs.if the batter becomes thick,please add more water.
    3. Heat 1 tsp oil in a small kadai and crackle mustard,jeera,then add green chilli, ginger and hing.
    4. Add this seasoned ingredients to the batter.
    5. Heat dosa tawa and apply onion coated withsalt.
    6. Mix the batter well & pour it thin from sides ie.,from outside to the middle.
    7. Spread oil or ghee on all sides.It comes thin like paper.
    8. Turn it to other side till it becomes golden brown.

    Note: Normally first 2 dosas won't come crispy.then from the third it becomes more crispy.Please keep the flame on medium.the batter should be stirred well before pouring into the tawa.
