onion can also be sliced lengthwise and added to this for more quantity.No need of adding water to this curry.It cooks soon as salt is coated in tondli.
Ingredients
vegetarian 2 servings
2 cups Tondli
2 tsp Chana dal
3 tsp Dania
3 Red chillis
Salt,to taste
1/2 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp hing
1/2 tsp mustard
1 tbsp Oil
Directions
Wash and cut tondli lengthwise.No need of removing head and tail portion.
Mix tondli with salt.keep it for 5 -10 minutes.
Roast in 1 tsp oil chana dal,Dania,Red chilli & hing.Allow it to cool for sometime.
Grind them to a dry coarse powder.
Heat oil,splutter mustard & add tondli and saute,keep the lid closed.
Saute in between & cook till it becomes tender.
It cooks soon as salt is already coated.
Tondli chi bhaji is ready.Serve with rice,Phulka or chapatti.
