Saucy Chicken Entree

This is a very simple and tasty chicken preparation.It goes extremely well with fried rice or even with naan,roti etc.

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings

    For marination Chicken 1 kg chilly powder 2 teaspoon soya sauce 1 tablespoon salt to taste. For rest of recipe onions 2 large sliced ginger 2" piece chopped garlic 5 pods chopped chilly powder 1 teaspoon soya sauce 1 tablespoon tomato sauce 3 teaspoon chillysauce 2 teaspooon oyster sauce 1 teaspoon cornflour to thicken oil for frying


    1. Marinate chicken in the first three ingredients for one hour.
    2. Fry the chicken in oil. Drain.
    3. Saute the onions,ginger and garlic till light brown.
    4. Add chilly powder and saute again.
    5. Add all the sauces and salt and mix well.
    6. Add the fried chicken and cover cook for 10 minutes.
    7. Add cornflour with water and thicken the gravy.
    8. Remove from fire after 5 minutes.



    instead of cornflour can anything else be used to thicken the gravy? or is it ok to skip thickening of gravy?


    what can v use if oyster sauce is not available??


    i would like to try this dish but please can you tell me what exactly issssssssssssssssssssssssssss marination?
