Very tasty hotel style chicken preparation to try at home. Goes very well with steamed rice and yoghurt or raita.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
6 chicken thighs
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
4 tsp grape vinegar
1 tbsp butter
5 shallots-sliced
3 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp fresh thyme
2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tsp salt or needed
1/2 cup water
Directions
Make few cut on the skin of the chicken .
Mix ginger-garlic paste,salt and pepper with grape wine and brush this paste to the chicken pieces and marinate for 30 mins. Reserve the remaining marinade.
Heat butter in a frying pan and saute shallots for a min,then add chicken pieces and saute till slightly brown in colour.
Reduce heat and add the remaining marinade and cook with 1/2 cup water for 15 mins.
Sprinkle vinegar and fresh thyme and cook for 5 more mins.
Serve hot with steamed rice and raita of your choice.
