Parval ka ravaiya

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 6-8 green parvals (indian gourd)
    • 11/2 cups fresh coconut (grated)
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp amchur
    • 4 tbsp oil
    • 1/2tsp jeera
    • a pinch of hing
    • 1 tsp coriander powder
    • 1/2 turmeric powder
    • 1/2 red chilli powder
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
    • 1 green chilli(chopped)
    • 1 tsp mustard seeds

    Directions

    1. Peel the parvals and cut them half way through in the centre and scoop out the inner pith.
    2. mix all the spices coconut salt and sugar. fill this mixture in parvals and tie them with a thread.
    3. heat oil in a pan,add hing,jeera ,mustard seeds,
    4. when they crackle add stuffed parvals.
    5. cook on a low flame without adding water.
    6. sprinkle lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with parathas.
