Bread Sweet Balls(Laddu)

Laddu made with bread and grated coconut

Very tasty Bread Sweet Balls in 5 mins time. U can do Sweet balla with rava using the same ingredients except bread slices .Try Coconut Sweet Balls using the same recipe excluding bread slices and soaked vermicelli.Try at home and enjoy.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 8 milk-bread slices-edges removed and shredded fine
    • 2 tbsp milk khoya
    • 100 gms sugar
    • 2 tbsp crushed vermicelli-soaked in boiled water for 10 mins
    • 2 tbsp grated coconut
    • 2 tbsp ghee
    • few chopped and ghee-roasted cashewnuts
    • few almonds (soaked,peeled and chopped fine)
    • few ghee-roasted raisins
    • 10 gm saffron strands-optional
    • 2 cardamoms - powdered 

    Directions

    1. Mix all the ingredients well in to a dough except vermicelli and add the soaked vermicelli last and shape them in to lemon-sized Laddu.
    2. Serve this bread laddus at tea-time.Store the left-overs(if any) in the fridge.

    Soak the crushed vermicelli for a min only and drain the water please.
