Milk cake

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 500 ml milk
    • 25gm sugar
    • a small quantity of tartaric acid
    • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
    • a few nuts (chopped)


    1. Grease a small container and placed chopped nuts on the base.
    2. Bring milk to the boil and tartaric acid or lemon juice dissolved in 1 tsp of water, drop by drop.
    3. the milk should not curdle completely.keep on stirring till it thickens.
    4. add sugar and cook till the mixture is free from water.
    5. sift the mixture into the greased tray to set .u can garnish it with chopped pista.




    dear rajeshwari, u can use only onewhether it is tartaric acid or lemon juice which is easily available.



    both tartaric acid and lemon juice are needed or just lemon juice is enough.I liked this as sugar is less.
