Spicy Mutton Kebab

Mutton Kebab- a variation

This easy and tasty preparation gives Kebabs that will melt in the mouth-An irresistible dish

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings


    • 250 g minced mutton
    • 5 tbsp raw papaya paste
    • 3 big finely chopped onions- deep-fried
    • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 2 tbsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp cardamom-cinnamon stick powder
    • 1 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 tbsp gram flour(kadalai mavu) or split besan-flour(pori-kadali mavu)
    • few coriander and mint leaves-finely chopped
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup refined oil - for frying

    Directions

    1. Marinate minced mutton mixed with all the other ingredients except refined oil for 40 mins.
    2. Shape the minced-mutton kebab batter into small round balls and then flatten the balls into patties.
    3. Shallow fry the mince patties in oil on a slow fire till they turn brown and crisp.
    4. Garnish with onion rings,green chillies and lemon wedges.
