It takes approximately 30 minutes to cook this wonderful sweet and serves about 5 - 6 persons.This is a yummy sweet and quite filling too!

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    1 pkt. China Grass 2 Bananas 1 tbsp. strawberry powder 1 Egg 50 gm. red plum pulp 25 gm cashewnut 4 tbsp. milk powder 1 lt. fresh milk 1 tbsp. golden syrup 1 leaf of silver foil


    1. Soak china grass in water for 1 hour.
    2. Boil the milk and reduce to almost half.
    3. Allow the milk to cool and add sugar and china grass.
    4. Stir and cook for 5 more minutes till it is mixed well.
    5. Allow this to cool and add the beaten egg when it is lukewarm.
    6. Meanwhile, take the red plum pulp. Add the dry milk and golden syrup to it.
    7. Add strawberry powder and the mashed bananas. Blend in a mixture for a minute.
    8. Add it to the custard in such a way that the 2 are not completely mixed.
    9. Decorate with cashwenuts and silver foil. Serve chilled!



    do we have to go china to bring china grass?? do we have to mix golden colour to water to make golden syrup?


    the recipe is interesting. only the ingredients,strawberry powder and golden syrup,iwould like to know whether it can be made at home or are available in shops, preferably the first option.
