Grind the yogurt & 1 garlic clove to a smooth puree.
Place the chicken pieces in a dish & pour the yogurt mixture over it. Cover the dish and leave it to marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Heat the ghee (or) oil in a saucepan. Add Onion and remaining garlic clove and sauthe over a low heat for 5mins until soft.
Add spices & salt and fry for 3mins.
Add the chicken pieces with yogurt marinade, desiccated coconut and mix well. Cover the pan wit a lid and cook it in simmer for 45mins or until the chicken is cooked.
