1 pkt Sev (vermicelli type)crushed
1 tin sweet condensed milk
1/2 cup grated coconut
4tbsp Milk Powder
1 cup ghee
chopped almonds and pista for decoration
1/4 tsp cardomom
A pinch of saffron threads
A pinch of Salt
In a big dish or kharai, heat 1 cup of ghee, when hot enough add the sev and fry till golden colour do not darken it as they are already roasted. Sieve the sev and let drain all the excess ghee in a separate bowl.
In the same dish or kharai add the coconut and roast till golden brown, then add the milk powder, condensed milk, salt, cardomom and saffron mix well.Lastly add the sieved sev and mix well.
Grease a thali or tray with ghee, add the sev mixture and level it properly using a flat spoon. Decorate with chopped almonds and pista, and press with a flat spoon so that the almonds dont fall out.
