Deep fried pasta sticks

This is an easy to make snack for parties or at tea times which is enjoyed while it's hot and welcomed by kids easily.

Ingredients vegetarian 8 servings


    • 1½ cup pasta, any type (boiled in slat water & drained).
    • 2 bell peppers (cores removed)
    • 1 carrot
    • A can of Mushroom (drained)
    • 2 cloves of garlic (slightly fried in oil).
    • 2 hot green chilli
    • 1 bunch cilantro
    • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
    • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 1 tsp chat masala
    • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
    • 1 tsp salt or adjust to ur taste
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • Oil for deep frying.

    Directions

    1. In a food processor ,process the pasta into finely sticky crumbles .
    2. Bring out in a bowl.
    3. Process the veggies and greens then add this to the pasta
    4. Add the chilli flakes, chilli sauce, Masalas, salt, pepper, cheese and lemon juice .
    5. Mix with hands & make into stick shapes.
    6. Heat oil & fry the sticks till golden
    7.  Drain out the oil & serve hot on a platter with your choice of chutney or dips. 
    * those who r not vegetarian  can easily add one boneless chicken breast while processing the pasta.

    ASAK Halims, I did not coat it wit bread crumbs as past when processed is quite sticky & clings nicely but if u wish u can it won't make much diff. just remember ur oil has to be hot or it becomes oily after frying. Cheers.

    Dear rabz. this recipe does look yummy. I would like to know if you need to roll in bread crumbs or any flour. will it not break apart in oil? I would like to know before trying this recipe. I do not want to go wrong. thanks for posting this recipe.
