Recipe by farha of delhi, IN

Does not involve too many ingredients...and is mouth watering too...No need to add water as onions release lot of water on cooking.

    • 2 tbsp cumin seeds ( jeera)
    • 3 tbsp fortune refined oil
    • 1 tbsp black pepper corns
    • 2 tsp garam masala powder
    • salt to taste

    1. Wash chicken pieces thoroughly and keep aside.
    2. In a pressure cooker pour the oil and let it heat up.When the oil is hot,add the cumin seeds and black pepper corns and let them crackle.
    3. Now add the chopped onions and let them turn pinkish.Add the ginger garlic paste and stir. Now add the chicken pieces  and stir for a while till the pieces turn whitish.Add salt and stir.
    4. Now add the chopped tomatoes and stir again.cover with a plate and cook on medium flame for 5 mins.

I tried this recipe and did not like it. It tasted like boiled chicken in onions and tomatoes. No red chilly powder nor turmeric powder. My husband didn't even wanted to taste it because it did not seem appealing to eyes. I would definitely not try this recipe again.
