Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • BOILED POTATO-250GM.
    • SOMBU-1/2 TO 3/4 TSP.
    • GRATED COCONUT-1/4 CUP.
    • GINGELLY OIL-2TSP.
    • TURMERIC POWDER-1/2 TO 3/4  TSP.
    • RED CHILLY-2NO.
    • MUSTARD SEEDS-1/2TSP.
    • CURRY LEAVES-2 SPRIG.
    • ONION-1NO(MEDIUM SIZE).
    • SALT-AS YOU LIKE.

    Directions

    • CUT BOILED POTATOES INTO  MEDIUM SIZE PIECES.
    • GRIND COCONUT AND SOMBU INTO PASTE.
    • TAKE OIL IN A PAN AND HEAT IN A MEDIUM FLAME.
    • ADD MUSTARD SEEDS.
    • WHEN IT SPLUTTERS.ADD RED CHILLY PIECES ,ONION AND CURRY LEAVES.
    • SAUTE WELL.
    • THEN,ADD POTATOES,TURMERIC POWDER.SAUTE FOR 1 MIN.
    • ADD,GROUNDED PASTE ,SALT AND 1/2 TUMBLER WATER.
    • COOK TILL THE RAW SMELL GOES OFF.
    • PUT OFF FIRE.
    • IF YOU WANT,YOU CAN  SPRINKLE SOME CORIANDER LEAVES AND SERVE.
    • IT GOES WELL WITH RASAM RICE,THAYIR(CURD)RICE  VERY WELL.
