very tasty potato coconutmilk masala to try at home.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
3 potatoes - peeled and cut into bite size pieces
1 big onion - sliced
1 tomato - chopped fine
1 green chilli - slit
4 red chillies
2 tsp coriander seeds
10 cashew nuts
1 cup coconut milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
1 tbsp refined oil
Directions
Grind 4 red chillies,10 cashew nuts and 2 tsp coriander seeds to a fine paste.
Take a microwave bowl, add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,sliced onions, chopped tomatoes,curry leaves and 1 tbsp refined oil.Microwave this for 2 mins on high.
Take the bowl out and mix all the remaining ingredients well and microwave this on high for 12 mins.
Serve this hot with rice and rasam or with chapathis.
