Mutton Seekh Kebab

Tasty kebab made with keema and spices

A traditional Moghali speciality - can be given as a starter or an accompaniment.

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings

    • 1/4 kg minced mutton
    • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp ghee(clarified butter)
    • 1 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tsp salt-to taste
    • 3 tbsp onion paste
    • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
    • 1 tsp fresh pepper powder
    • 1 big onion -finely chopped
    • 1 tomato - finely chopped
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 1/2 tsp cardamom and cinnamon stick powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds-powdered
    • 2 tbsp grated nutmeg
    • 1 tsp corn flour-pasted in 2 tsp warm water
    • few coriander and mint leaves


    1. Mix all the ingredients together well.
    2. Shape the kebab keema-mix around the skewers and grill over a medium fire till kebabs are cooked on both sides (8 mins per side).
    3. Serve with tomato ketchup and lemon wedges.
