Gud for diabetics as they have low glycemic index . Helps to control Glucose levels , Lowers cholesterol , Promotes heart health , Aids in weight loss and Prevents age related muscular disease . Lentils should not be eaten raw , due to the presence of anti- nutrients such as phytic acid .
