Thai Basil Chicken

Ground chicken with Basil

Thai basil is aromatic and immesely appetizing

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • ½ lb Boneless chicken breast
    • ¼ cup Shredded bamboo shoots
    • ½ cup Straw mushrooms
    • 3 tablespoon Oyster sauce
    • 2 tablespoon Oil
    • 3 Red chile peppers
    • 3 Garlic cloves (chopped)
    • 15 Basil leaves
    • 3 Kaffir lime leaves
    • 2 cups Chopped cabbage (optional)


    1. First chop up the garlic.
    2. Then cut the lime leaves into strips.
    3. Chop up the chili peppers.
    4. Thinly slice chicken into 2-inch strips
    5. Heat oil and add the garlic and lime leaves.
    6. Add chicken, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, oyster sauce, and red chili peppers.
    7. Stir fry for five minutes or until chicken are cooked.
    8. Mix in basil and serve on a bed of chopped cabbage



    Nice,can we use anything ,instead of bamboo shoot.
