Vegetable Noodles

Its a healthy indo-chinese vegetarian recipe

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 200gm pack of noodles
    • 1 onion
    • 1 carrot
    • 1 capsicum
    • 5-6 french beans
    • 1/4 cabbage
    • 2-3 stem of spring onion
    • 6-7 garlic cloves
    • 1/2 inch ginger(optional)
    • 6-7 green chillies
    • salt to taste
    • 1/4 tsp ajinomoto
    • 1tbsp soya sauce
    • 1/4tsp black pepper (optional)
    • 1/4 tsp vinegar

    Directions

    1. Par boil noodles, for better results make sure you do not over boil the noodles.
    2. Add in a seiver and drain cold water over it. Cold water stops cooking and ensures that noodles are not overdone.
    3. Slice onion, cabbage, capsicum, carrot, french beans slantly and also spring onion.
    4. Take a wok/chinese pan or even normal pan will do. Add oil then sliced onions. saute for a minute on high heat.
    5. Then add ginger, garlic and green chilly paste, saute for half a minute.
    6. Add the vegetables, salt, aginomotto saute till they are cooked and the water dries up.
    7. Add noodles to it, soya sauce, black pepper, vinegar, spring onion and stir it well.
    8. Serve it with manchurian or any other side dish.

    Dear Smitha, Manchurian is a chinese Item. Simply it is a type of cofta made from veg like cabbage, carrotetc. They are eaten dry or with gravy.
